Quetzal-1 is Guatemala’s first satellite. It was developed in-house at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala (UVG) and tests a multispectral remote sensor prototype composed of a camera, a piezoelectric motor, and a filter carousel designed to acquire images at different wavelengths.
