【岡山大学】令和5年度秋季岡山大学入学式、大学院入学式を挙行

◆概 要
　国立大学法人岡山大学（本部：岡山市北区、学長：那須保友）は、2023年10月2日、秋季入学式を本学津島キャンパスにある創立五十周年記念館で行い、新たに入学したグローバル・ディスカバリー・プログラム学生25人と大学院生139人が大学生活へのスタートを切りました。

　式では那須保友学長が「As a student studying at a research university promoting the SDGs, we hope that you will learn many new things with your friends, colleagues and us that will enable you to produce and deliver innovative discoveries, skills, and applications to the world. With that purpose in mind, please enjoy the opportunities to experience the history and culture of the Okayama region as well as its rich natural environment.（SDGsを推進する研究大学で学ぶ学生として、革新的な発見、技術、応用を生み出し、世界に発信できるよう、仲間とともに多くの新しいことを学んでいただきたいと思います。そのためにも、岡山県の歴史や文化、豊かな自然を感じる機会を楽しんでください）」と英語で式辞を述べました。

　新入生を代表して、グローバル・ディスカバリー・プログラムのMAY HSU MON CHOさんが「We have arrived here from various corners of the world, each of us carrying unique stories and enhancing diversity. We pledge to respect one another's differences and values, to support each other's growth, and to strive tirelessly in pursuit of our dreams, with the ultimate goal of contributing to the betterment of our society, our nations, and the world as a whole.（私たちは世界の様々な地域からここに集まり、それぞれが唯一無二の経歴を持ち、多様性を高めています。私たちは、互いの違いや価値観を尊重し、互いの成長を支え合い、夢に向かってたゆまぬ努力を続けることを誓います。）」と宣誓しました。
