　「サステナをともに」をコンセプトに掲げ、サステナビリティ活動を中心とした広範なリテラシーを共に高め合うリーダーが集う「Sustainability Leadership Community（サステナビリティ リーダーシップ コミュニティ、以下 SLC/会員数571名 会員所属企業数394社 ※2024/9/10時点）」は、「サステナビリティのシステム導入プロジェクトを成功させる秘訣」をテーマとした第5回リアルイベントを8月29日に開催いたしました。

　SLCは、サステナビリティを推進する企業や個人、有識者を対象とした無料の登録制コミュニティです。本イベントでは、基調講演やパネルディスカッション、懇親会を通じて、最新の事例や日頃の業務に関する情報交換、課題の共有等のネットワーキングを行い、企業のサステナビリティ経営を加速させる場を提供します。



■第5回リアルイベントの詳細
　本イベントは、2024年8月29日（木）に都内会場で「サステナビリティのシステム導入プロジェクトを成功させる秘訣」をテーマに開催し、普段は会員限定のオンラインコミュニティ上で交流を行っている会員が一堂に会して、ディスカッションとネットワーキングを行いました。

　SSBJ/CSRD対応などをトリガーとしたSX推進のためのシステム導入において、サステナ部門のみで検討、実施をした結果、プロジェクトが遅延・頓挫するケースが散見されており、全社展開に向けたシステム要件整理、既存システムとの連携、ユーザ教育、データ分析活用など、プロジェクトを成功させるには、IT部門の関与が必須であることから、今回は本テーマを設定しました。

　そこで、伊藤忠商事株式会社のSX推進における「システム導入」のキーパーソンである　伊藤忠商事株式会社 准執行役員 IT・デジタル戦略部長 兼 伊藤忠サイバー＆インテリジェンス 代表取締役社長 浦上氏と同社　 IT・デジタル戦略部　デジタル戦略室　プロジェクトマネージャー吉嵜氏をお招きし、伊藤忠商事株式会社様の取り組み事例を「サステナビリティシステム導入」の観点でお話しいただきました。業務主幹とシステム主幹の両輪体制でプロジェクトを推進することの重要性、IT部門が入ったからこそ実現できたことについて、具体例を交えながら解説いただきました。

　基調講演やパネルディスカッション、グループディスカッションを通じて、プロジェクトの推進体制、各部門を横断した働きかけ、進め方のポイントなど、サステナ実務担当者がプロジェクトを成功させるための秘訣を学び、理解を深め合いました。

　With the concept of "Building Sustainability Together," the Sustainability Leadership Community (SLC, 571 members, 394 member companies as of September 10, 2024), a gathering of leaders who aim to elevate broad literacy centered on sustainability activities, held its 5th live event on August 29. The event focused on the theme, "Keys to Successfully Implementing Sustainability System Projects."

　SLC is a free registration-based community aimed at companies, individuals, and experts promoting sustainability. This event offered networking opportunities through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and social gatherings, facilitating the exchange of the latest case studies and information related to daily operations, as well as sharing challenges, to accelerate corporate sustainability management.


■Details of the 5th Live Event
　The event was held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at a venue in Tokyo, focusing on the theme "Keys to Successfully Implementing Sustainability System Projects." Members, who typically interact within the members-only online community, gathered to engage in discussions and networking.

　In the context of implementing systems for promoting SX triggered within the SSBJ/CSRD compliance, there have been numerous cases where projects have been delayed or stalled due to discussions and implementations being confined solely to the sustainability department. To successfully execute projects, it is essential to organize system requirements for company-wide deployment, integrate with existing systems, provide user training, and utilize data analysis, necessitating the involvement of the IT department. Therefore, we chose this theme for the event.

　We also invited Mr. Urakami, Executive Officer and Head of the IT and Digital Strategy Division at Itochu Corporation, and Mr. Yoshizaki, Project Manager in the Digital Strategy Office of the IT and Digital Strategy Division, as key figures in the "System Implementation" for SX promotion at Itochu Corporation. They shared examples of Itochu Corporation's initiatives from the perspective of "Sustainability System Implementation." They discussed the importance of advancing projects with a dual approach involving both the business and IT departments, highlighting specific examples of what could only be achieved with the involvement of the IT department.

　Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and group discussions, sustainability practitioners learned the keys to successful project implementation, deepening their understanding of the project promotion structure, cross-departmental collaboration, and essential strategies for advancing their initiatives.
