16日前引け時点の日経平均構成銘柄の騰落数は、値上がり46銘柄、値下がり179銘柄、変わらず0銘柄となった。
日経平均は反落、昨日の大幅上昇で利益確定売りが優勢に 日経平均は反落。227.68円安の33292.02円（出来高概算7億2420万株）で前場の取引を終えている。
15日の米国株式市場のダウ平均は163.51ドル高（+0.47％）、S&P500は7.18ポイント高（+0.16％）、ナスダック総合指数は9.46ポイント高（+0.07％）とそれぞれ上昇。10月の卸売物価指数（PPI）が予想以上に鈍化したため、利上げ終了観測が一段と強まった。また、ディスカウント小売のターゲットの好決算や、市場予想よりは堅調な結果だった10月小売売上高の結果などを受け、ソフトランディング期待なども高まった。一方、長期金利が上昇したためハイテクは伸び悩む場面も見られたが、底堅く推移した。一方、日経平均は前日比120.11円安の33399.59円と反落スタート。昨日の大幅上昇の反動で、利益確定売りが優勢の展開となった。
