ある Anonymous Coward 曰く、 CentOS 5.6 が 4 月 8 日にリリースされた (CentOS-annouce へのメール、Release Notes) 。
5.5 からの主な変更点は以下の通り。 ext4 の正式サポート。 仮想化 API の libvirt が 0.8.2 に。 bind は 9.7 になり、NSEC3 対応に。 Ethernet ブリッジファイアウォールである ebtables の追加。 PHP5.3。 System Security Services Daemon (SSSD) の追加。
